Do I need a generator for HMI lights?

Large HMIs draw serious power. Our generator truck delivers 1200A on location with a full distro package, and we rent distro and cable separately.

When should I use tungsten instead of LED?

Tungsten gives natural color rendering and a classic warm, cinematic look. Use it when that quality matters more than power draw or heat.

Can HMI and tungsten travel on a grip truck?

Yes. Lighting can be added to any 5 ton, 3 ton or G&E sprinter package.
