3 TON GRIP TRUCK

    LIGHTING INSIDE AND OUT

    The 3 ton grip truck box is equipped with its own power system providing LED lighting throughout the interior and exterior of the box. No additional working lights are needed while wrapping on a late night or loading in at an early call. The truck is also wired for 30A shore power to provide power outlets throughout the truck.

    CUSTOM LIT JOCKEY BOXES

    The underbody of the 3 ton grip truck is custom made jockey boxes to hold sandbags, cable, grip gear and more. Each jockey box has a led light installed to make it easy to work in the dark. All light switches are located in the stairwell of the truck.

    OVERSIZED (7') LIFTGATE

    Each truck is outfitted with a top of the line palfinger liftgate. All of our truck liftgates are 7’ long and equipped with a cart stop to ensure safety for the cargo and passengers. Rated at 3300lbs, this liftgate will have the equipment to set in just a few trips.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a CDL to drive the 3 ton grip truck?

No. The 3 ton grip truck is a Ford F-600 at 22,000 lb GVWR, license Class C. Our G&E trucks do require a Convoy certified driver on the project, and we can supply preferred grips, electrics and PA drivers.

What is included with the 3 ton grip truck?

A full grip and electric package: carts, quartz, stands, distro, frames and rags, reflectors, flags, junior, baby and misc hardware, speedrail, ladders, lumber, safety gear and gel rolls. Expendables bill as used and a distro package can be added on.

How big is the 3 ton grip truck?

28 ft long, 8.5 ft wide, 12 ft clearance, with an 8 ft interior height, 8,000 lb payload and a 7 ft Palfinger liftgate rated to 3,300 lb.

Is the 3 ton grip truck suitable for small locations?

It is the more compact of our two grip trucks at 28 ft and 12 ft clearance, so it fits residential streets and tighter lots more easily than the 38 ft 5 ton. For very tight access consider the grip and electric sprinter van.

How is the 3 ton grip truck billed?

Per day, including the grip package, regardless of the day of the week. No weekend or holiday rates.

Where do I pick up the 3 ton grip truck?

Suite 101 at 7303 Burleson Rd, Austin, our G&E warehouse. Off hours pickup and return is available with gate and door codes.
